Paramount Plus has confirmed that the Halo TV series will finally debut on UK screens on June 22, the same day as the on-demand video service launches on these shores.

The live action Halo TV series originally arrived in the US and other territories back in March. However, those of us in the UK had to wait a little longer as the streaming platform wasn’t available over here. Previously, 343 Industries declared the series would arrive in the summer. Now we have an exact date.

If you need a quick refresher, or you’ve been avoiding international spoilers, the series has Pablo Schreiber has Master Chief in the lead role. Joining the Spartan is Jen Taylor and Natascha McElhone as Cortana and Dr Halsey. 343 Industries has declared that the series takes place in its own continuity so as not to encroach on the games.

As a bonus, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to get a free trial of the Paramount Plus service on launch as a new perk. That should let you find out for yourself for no extra cost. It’s not quite clear yet if all the episodes will launch at once, or on a weekly basis as it did in the US. Regardless, a second season has already been greenlit, but it’s not clear yet if we’ll get that one at the same time as our friends across the pond.

You can check out a brief new UK-centric trailer for yourself in the tweet below. Halo the TV series arrives, along with Paramount Plus, in the UK on June 22. Paramount Plus will also be the home of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog Knuckles spin-off when that launches too.
