Paramount Plus has dropped the final story trailer for the imminent release of the Halo TV series in just over a week’s time.

Over on the Xbox Wire, 343 Industries’ Kiki Wolfkill offered a brief intro to the trailer. “When we set out to create a television series about Halo and the Master Chief,” she writes. “Our goal was to not only create an epic sci-fi adventure that would be fun to watch, but to dive into the characters, the personal stories, and the incredibly vast and detailed universe of Halo that we have mostly only seen through the games.”

The trailer gives us one more look at some of the major players of the show’s first season. They include Dr Halsey, Admiral Margaret Parangsosky, Miranda Keyes and the Silver fireteam. Then of course, there’s Master Chief himself, played by Pablo Schreiber. (It’s maybe interesting to note though he’s not as heavily featured in the trailer as you’d expect.) The show had its first screening at the SXSW festival in Texas this week.

To mark the show’s release later this month, Xbox has also announced a new Xbox Game Pass perk. From March 23, the day before the Halo series launches, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to claim 30 free days of Paramount Plus. Currently, the service, and so this offer, will only be available in regions where Paramount Plus is supported. However, Paramount Plus (along with Halo) has been confirmed for a UK release later this summer. So we’re hopeful we’ll get this offer too once it makes its way over here.

In the meantime, you can check out the Halo TV series trailer for yourself below. The series launches in the US on March 24, streaming exclusively on Paramount Plus.
