Fantasy RPG Greedfall will be getting a new expansion entitled The De Vespe Conspiracy and a next-gen enhancement at the end of this month, developer Spiders has confirmed.

As per the announcement, both additions will be bundled in an upcoming release called Greedfall: Gold Edition for those who don’t own the game yet. The expansion promises us a visit to a previously undiscovered region of Teer Fradee with a new storyline involving a nefarious conspiracy. There’ll be strange new beasts, new gear and a villainous new enemy faction to contend with too.

The next-gen upgrade for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions promise faster loading times, 4K visuals and a 60FPS Performance mode. And yes, it’ll be a free upgrade with save file compatibility if you already own the game on Xbox One and PS4. Both the expansion and upgrade were first teased late last year following the game reaching a million copies sold.

Greedfall: Gold Edition and The De Vespe Conspiracy expansion will both be available from June 30 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 30. The Greedfall next-gen versions for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 land on the same day.
