Xbox has revealed the next set of games coming to the Xbox Game Pass service in the next month, and it includes the return of Grand Theft Auto 5 to the service after a long absence.

In fact, Grand Theft Auto 5 is available from today via Cloud and Console, kicking off July’s offerings with a bit of a bang. The massive hit is still spectacularly popular, as despite the fact we know the sequel is coming, it still doesn’t have a specific date just yet.

Other games added in the latest drop include Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, which also drops today, McPixel 3 which is available to subscribers from July 6 and Common’hood coming on July 11. Insurgency Sandstorm arrives on the PC flavour of the service from July 11 and then Capcom’s dinosaur shooter Exoprimal arrives just a few days later, on July 11. Rounding up the latest batch of titles is Techtonica on July 18 and Ron Gilbert adventure game The Cave drops on July 18, just two days ahead of Gilbert’s most famous creation Monkey Island arriving in Sea of Thieves.

The last time Grand Theft Auto 5 was available on Xbox Game Pass was back in 2021, but it only stuck around for around a month before it left once more. Whether it’ll stick around longer this time remains to be seen. Three games that are leaving on July 15 include Exo One, Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls and Spelunky 2, so grab them while you still can.
