Warner Bros Games has finally given a release date to upcoming DC adventure Gotham Knights for this October.

If you need a quick refresher, the game will see players take to the streets of Gotham City not as the Caped Crusader, but rather four of his most trusted allies. Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood and Nightwing will be the ones serving justice on the streets. And not a moment too soon, as the shady Court of Owls have teamed up with Gotham supervillain The Penguin.

The open world action RPG was first announced back in August of 2020 and will be playable in both single player or two-player co-op. The game was delayed into 2022 by the time March 2021 rolled around, but a specific date was relatively unknown until now. We’ve had a few glimpses of the game since, most recently during October’s DC Thunderdome event. There, we got a good look at the Penguin and The Court of Owls themselves.

Hopefully now that we have a date, we’ll be getting further updates on the game soon; a new trailer wouldn’t go amiss. For now, expect Gotham Knights to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 25, 2022.
