A Genshin Impact 3.7 update leak has revealed the alleged addition of a much needed feature to HoYoverse’s popular open world RPG. According to the unearthed information, a gadget wheel feature will seemingly be introduced as part of the upcoming patch that will make it much easier to scroll through each device that you’ve equipped.
It’s important to note, though, that the details provided are merely leaks and haven’t actually been confirmed by the developers themselves. With this in mind, you’ll need to take this with the customary grain of salt as there is a possibility that this won’t end up being included in the next update.
If this feature addition is to be believed, however, then it will present a drastic improvement to the current method of selecting gadgets in the game. At present, the only way you can choose different items is through the gadgets tab in the Inventory. If you’ve been a long-time player of the game, you’ll know how troublesome this is, especially if you’re currently engaged in combat.
According to the images provided through the Genshin Impact 3.7 update leak, though, it seems that the key prompts that are being displayed are for the PC. That said, it’s currently unclear how this system will work if it were to be made available through the smartphone instead, which utilizes a much more conservative user interface.
Nevertheless, the fact that this is now being added as a feature has pleased numerous Reddit users as it will now make venturing through certain sections of the map more interesting. But with the feature not being confirmed by the developers at the time of writing, players will need to temper their expectations for the time being. However, the source of the leak is apparently known for their reliability so there may be some merit to the information that’s been provided so far.
