While Genshin Impact is getting its 3.6 update today, developer HoYoverse has already unveiled a future character who’s believed to be joining the roster in the upcoming 3.7 patch.

The reveal came from the game’s official social media accounts, that named the new character as the long-awaited debut of Kirara – Cat Upon the Eaves. This character works as a Gold Level Courier of the Komaniya Express and is apparently known for her strong work ethic – and her constellation is known as Arcella.

The social media post also revealed that she’ll utilise the Dendro element for her Vision power, but further details are currently being held back for closer to her official launch. Still, that hasn’t stopped the Genshin Impact dataminers the game’s subreddit from delving into any more information they can find on the new character.

According to them her attacks include the Boxcutter, which performs four rapid strikes, and the aptly-named Meow-teor Kick that deals Dendro Damage. Her eagerness to deliver packages will also be reflected in her Elemental Burst, which will reportedly allow her to deal boosted AOE damage to her foes with a special delivery package. Of course, all this could still change between now and when the character finally arrives – so take this with a pinch of salt.

Meanwhile, Genshin Impact update 3.6 arrives today, and brings along its own brand new characters, including Baizhu and Kaveh – both with their own new abilities. On top of that, the update features some brand new regions for players to explore in Sumeru, and a brand new Domain of Blessing known as the Molten Iron Fortress. There’s also new weapons, new story quests and much, much more.

The 3.6 update for Genshin Impact is available for the game now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC, and you can read the full patch notes for the update on the HoYoLab website.
