Developer The Game Bakers is releasing new DLC for Furi, the stylish hack-and-slash game from 2016.

The update, entitled the Onnamusha DLC, will arrive on May 17th, for PlayStation, Switch, and PC. The DLC won’t be coming to Xbox, however, for which the developer has apologised.

Check out the trailer for the DLC below:

The description reads:

“Rediscover Furi with the Onnamusha Rider: a powerful fighter that alternates between two stances: fast and agile or slower but lethal, until she’s able to unleash the devastating power of the Star.”

With regard to the lack of Xbox support, The Game Bakers issued a statement to fans on Twitter. “We have heard all of you who played Furi on Xbox and we understand your frustration. We are a small indie team and we couldn’t find the time and budget to make that port.”

The statement then went on to say, “Furi never captured a lot of attention on Xbox and unfortunately we had to prioritize platforms. We hope to be developing for Xbox again in the future. Thank you for supporting our games.”
