Two new character packs have launched for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga today.
The Mandalorian Season 2 Character Pack features Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, Bo Katan, Moff Gideon, and Fennec Shand. While the Star Wars: The Bad Batch Character Pack includes Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair, Tech, and Echo.
Warner Bros. Games has also launched a new trailer for the DLC packs:
The packs are launching today because it is Star Wars day, apparently. May the 4th is a bit like “May the Force”—as in, “be with you.” It’s all a bit silly, if you ask me, but then again you may not have asked me, and fair enough.
These new character packs are available as part of the Character Collection Pack season pass. Alongside other packs like The Mandalorian Season 1, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
I found Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to be an oddity. On the one hand, it seemed to inject Star Wars with a welcome dose of pep and humour. On the other hand, after about ten minutes of pootling around Tatooine, I just didn’t find it fun to play.
It does have one really big thing going for it, though: it made Jar Jar Binks funny.
