Fortnite has a storied history with Marvel, dating back to 2018 when Thanos was first brought to the game with his own mode. This has continued throughout the years and is only set to continue now that Disney owns a stake in Epic Games along with owning Marvel. The latest collaboration is set to promote the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie that is set to be released on July 25th, and Fortnite will be playing a major part in promoting it as the two iconic characters are set to return to the game.

According to popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX, the Deadpool & Wolverine collaboration is set to go live with the next Item Shop rotation at 8 pm ET. He also revealed what other collaborations we can expect to see return over the next couple of weeks, including Futurama and My Hero Academia.

  • Deadpool & Wolverine: Tonight/Tomorrow

  • Avatar: 28th – 30st
  • Futurama: 29th – 31st
  • Summer Road Trip: 29th – 31st
  • Lethal Company: 1st – 2nd

This comes ahead of the leaked Marvel-themed Season 4 that will bring many iconic characters from the franchise to the game, in the same vein as Chapter 2 Season 4 which brought Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, and more to Fortnite. Deadpool was also among the first boss NPCs that came to Fortnite in Chapter 2 Season 2 alongside Midas, Skye, and others, meaning that both iconic Marvel characters have a storied history in the game.

Speaking of Chapter 2, it has been leaked that it is set to return to the game as Fortnite OG will happen before the start of Chapter 6, but this time will focus on Chapter 2 and will bring back POIs such as The Agency, Sweaty Sands, and Holly Hedges.
