The second Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration is going to be massive! Epic Games released an update for it earlier this week, and the new content will be enabled on Friday. Unlike the first TMNT collab, this one will bring a new event, map changes, and more.

To make the community even more hyped for the upcoming Fortnite event, Epic released a short teaser. The teaser showcased some of the content that will arrive, including new Mythic weapons. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

The Fortnite x TMNT collaboration will bring a mini Battle Pass

With the release of the new collaboration, Fortnite will get another mini Battle Pass. The pass includes both free and paid cosmetics, from free emotes to the Shredder skin. In addition to it, Splinter will come to Fortnite’s Item Shop and will be obtainable for V-Bucks.

Besides cosmetic items, the Fortnite x TMNT collaboration will bring many gameplay changes, and here they are:

  • Four new Mythic weapons
  • New TMNT-styled Supply Drops
  • TMNT Vehicle
  • Turtle Lair POI
  • Special Vending Machines

You can watch the teaser below.

Furthermore, the partnership will bring many new quests. By completing them, not only will you progress through the mini Battle Pass, but you’ll also be able to level up. While the collab will bring many free cosmetic items, you won’t be able to get free Fortnite skins from it. Fortunately, four of them are currently available from other sources.

The collaboration will be a limited-time event that will begin on Friday, February 9. At the moment, it’s unknown how long it will last, but we expect it to be active for at least two weeks. With Chapter 5 Season 2 coming in early March, there is also a chance that Epic Games will keep the collab active until the end of the current season.
