Fortnite Season 4 brought a lot of new content for players to enjoy. From new items to a Marvel-themed Battle Pass, the season has been fantastic so far. On top of this, Epic Games released several new features that made the game even better. However, one of these new features was disabled on the first day, and the developer just removed it completely from the game.

It will be interesting to see if it will return, but considering that Epic removed it quietly, we may not see it before Chapter 6.

This Fortnite feature was permanently removed

When Season 4 just came out, it was possible to take henchmen down and then revive them. By doing this, you would have an extra teammate on your team who helps you eliminate enemies. While henchmen were not super helpful, they provided extra damage, as well as distraction. However, Epic Games removed henchmen converting a few days into the season.

No one knows why the Fortnite developer did this, but many hoped that it was due to a bug. After all, Epic kept the “Change of Heart” accolade in the game, which somewhat hinted at the return of the newly-released feature. Unfortunately, the accolade is no longer available either.

According to iFireMonkey, the veteran Fortnite leaker, Epic disabled the accolade. It is no longer available in the game, which may mean that the feature won’t return anytime soon. However, we can expect it to come back in Fortnite Chapter 6, which is less than three months away.

In the meantime, “Change of Heart” is arguably one of the rarest accolades ever added to Fortnite. Not only was it available for just a few hours, but many players didn’t know that converting henchmen was even possible. As a result, only a handful of players were able to unlock it before its removal.
