First Fortnite Chapter 6 leak shows new gameplay feature

The release of Fortnite Chapter 6 will likely come at the end of 2024. The new chapter will bring a lot of new content, including a new map and new gameplay features. Despite it being more than five months away, the first leaks have already come out. It appears that Epic Games is working on a gameplay feature that will completely change mobility.

According to the leaked Fortnite roadmap, the next Fortnite chapter will arrive in December. The chapter will come out after another OG season and a big live event.

Fortnite Chapter 6 will come in late 2024

It appears that Epic will stick to releasing new Fortnite chapters every year. In addition to that, the game developer may keep releasing OG seasons ahead of new chapters. This strategy worked out well in 2023, and the company is hoping to replicate its success. However, despite the new chapter being half a year away, one of the recent leaks shows a new feature it will bring.

Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, shared that a swinging mechanic will come to the game in Chapter 6. In addition to this, Epic will also add gyms, although it’s unclear what exactly this means. He leaker also shared an image showing the upcoming feature.

In the past, Epic Games released a couple of items that allowed swinging, such as Spider-Man’s Web Shooters and Grapple Gloves. However, in Chapter 6, we will likely be able to do this without any items. For now, it’s unknown how this new gameplay mechanic will work, but there is a chance that it will be limited to only certain parts of the island.
