Fortnite’s open-world mode will feature crafting
Epic Games is currently looking for a user interface programmer intern. The job was posted on the company’s official website, and surprisingly, it revealed a few interesting details. The programmer intern will work on a team responsible for building new experiences in Fortnite.

According to reputable Fortnite leakers, the open-world game mode will be released in Chapter 5. The new chapter of the video game will likely be released later this year, meaning we could get a massive new mode in just a couple of months.
Interestingly, an open-world mode was first seen in documents for the Epic Games v. Apple trial. Initially, many players believed that the mode would come out with Chapter 3, but this wasn’t the case. However, considering that the release of Fortnite Chapter 5 will be massive, we expect the open-world mode to come with it.
