The Fortnite x One Piece collaboration is something many players would love to see. Epic Games has brought a lot of popular anime characters to its battle royale game, and fans want even more of them. Fortunately, the collaboration has finally happened, but not exactly how players expected it.

One Piece has many great characters who could be added to Fortnite Battle Royale. The anime has so much content that Epic could create an in-game event for it. However, the first collaboration was rather small and far from amusing.

Here is everything you should know about it.

The Fortnite x One Piece collaboration has been officially released

The Fortnite x One Piece collab brought a new Creative map, yet Item Shop cosmetics are still missing. Considering that data miners found nothing regarding One Piece characters in the game data, it’s unlikely that they will be released anytime soon.

While the Creative map looks awesome, many players looked forward to obtaining a new anime skin. However, the new Creative map may be just the tip of the iceberg. There’s a good chance that Epic Games is using it to tease a bigger collaboration that will be released later this year.

The official Twitter account of One Piece on Netflix posted a video of the Creative map, which you can see below.

If you want to play the map, you can do so with this code: 7374-8187-1871. The easiest way to enter the code is to enter the Game Mode selection menu and go to the Island Code tab. Once you confirm the code, press the Play button and enjoy the map.

Considering that many other companies, including Nvidia and Nike, used Fortnite’s Creative mode to promote their products, the One Piece map isn’t a surprise. However, many of these companies also further collaborated with Epic, bringing unique items to the game. Will One Piece do the same?

Luffy from One Piece has appeared in a couple of Fortnite surveys. If Epic Games releases another Fortnite x One Piece collaboration, the popular character will likely come with it. Unfortunately, the first partnership didn’t bring any new cosmetics, which is quite disappointing.
