Reboot has been a huge part of Fortnite Battle Royale. Epic Games added it with the release of Season 8 back in early 2019, allowing eliminated players to get back into the game. At first, this feature was quite controversial. However, the community has gotten used to it, and it would be nearly impossible to imagine the game without it anymore.

Epic constantly works on adding new features to Fortnite and making it more interesting. Due to this, it’s no surprise that the latest leak shows an improved version of the Reboot feature. While the release date is currently unknown, it might be just around the corner!

The improved version of Reboot will improve Fortnite

The Reboot system has been quite simple since and hasn’t changed much since its release. Whenever a player dies in Duos, Trios, or Squads, their teammates can pick up the Reboot Card and bring them back to the game. To do this, they only need to interact with a Reboot Van, which can be found in numerous places on the island.

Upon being rebooted, the player receives a common pistol and 100 Wood. However, the latest leak shows an improved version of Fortnite’s Reboot feature. According to Shiina, a reputable leaker, Epic is working on a so-called Enhanced Resurrection feature. Instead of spawning with a pistol, the resurrected player would receive a Holo Twister AR, a big shield potion, ammo, and materials.

Interestingly, Epic also seems to be working on a feature that will allow Fortnite players to reboot their teammates with gold. However, while both of these features are in development, their release date hasn’t been leaked yet.

With the next Fortnite update coming on March 11, we will get a lot of new content. The game developer has once again prepared big things, but we’ll have to wait to see if Reboot improvements will also come.
