The latest free skin for popular battle royale shooter Fortnite is now available, with the colourful Viva Chroma skin here to jazz up your wardrobe for zero cost.

The new skin is available to PlayStation Plus subscribers as their new freebie for being members of the service – as a new pack is available to download on roughly a seasonal basis. This latest one is named the True Colors pack, and appears to be based around Pride Month with its colourful rainbow-hued character and accompanying Back Bling. The complete contents of the True Colours pack are as follows:

  • Vivi Chroma Outfit
  • Scribbles Back Bling

If you want the pack, simply ensure you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription. Then, you’ve got a couple of options to get the cosmetics. Either boot up Fortnite, head to the in-game store and scroll down until you reach the real money bundles. You should see the True Colors pack available to select and download from there.

Alternatively, you can head to the PlayStation Store, either directly from the console (search for ‘Fortnite True Colors’) or this handy direct link in a web browser. Make sure you’re logged into your account, and ‘purchase’ the True Colors pack, which should come up as a zero-cost purchase. Confirm, and it’s all yours. Then it’s a case of heading to the Locker tab in game and applying the Fortnite free skin to your character. Easy!

The freebie comes hot on the heels of Fortnite’s recently released Chapter 4 Season 3 update, entitled Fortnite Wilds. Players have already found an amazing new slide cancel glitch in the latest content drop, and think it’d be a prime candidate for a Jurassic Park crossover.
