There are plenty of new Fortnite augments to explore in the Wilds Season. Augments have become a staple of Epic Games’ battle royale since the begining of Chapter 4.
Now, with the fresh Fortnite battle pass and skins and changes to the Fortnite map crashing down on us, it’s time to take a look at the latest augments to add to your loadout. We’ll also cover all the augments currently in-game, to make sure you’re as prepared as possible.
What are augments in Fortnite?
For the uninitiated, augments are a form of permanent power up players can collect during matches. Survive long enough in a game, and you’ll be given a choice between two random augments. Kills and other actions that boost experience tend to increase the rate at which you’ll unlock augments. Survive to the endgame, and you can have as many as four different augments at once. These augments will only last for the game you unlock them during.
The augments themselves vary in terms of what they do and how useful they are, and many will suit certain tactics or playstyles more than others.
