Epic Games has released a lot of free Fortnite items over the past few years. While most players are interested in skins, there’s no doubt they enjoy adding other cosmetics to their lockers. Fortunately, there is still time to add a couple of exclusive items before they expire.
As many players are familiar, Fortnite is currently celebrating its sixth birthday. Due to this, it’s no surprise that Epic has released a couple of free cosmetics for players to earn. However, these items expire in less than 24 hours and will never return to the game again.
Birthday cosmetics are unique, which is why players need to earn them before the event ends.
These Fortnite cosmetic items will become very rare
Fortnite’s sixth birthday has brought three free cosmetic items that need to be unlocked through special quests. In addition to these items, each quest grants 20,000 XP, which is great for leveling up the Battle Pass.
These are the free rewards currently available in the game:
- Birthday Basher pickaxe
- Birthday Dash spray
- Slice O’ Six back bling
Earning these items is very simple as it only requires completing five birthday quests. However, these quests will be removed from the game with the v26.20 update on Tuesday, September 26.
While these cosmetic items may not look the best, they are quite unique. Many Fortnite players love exclusive stuff, and that is what makes these three cosmetics special. Once they leave the game, they will never return and will become extremely rare in just a few years.
Epic Games hasn’t revealed the exact time of the next Fortnite update. However, considering the past updates, we expect it to come out around 4 AM Eastern Time. Epic will take servers down at this time, making birthday quests no longer available.
The good news is that all the quests can be completed in only an hour!
