Epic Games just released new Fortnite Birthday quests. The game developer is celebrating the sixth birthday of its popular video game, which is a massive milestone. Once again, the game’s birthday has brought a new in-game event that includes quests and free cosmetic items.

With the v26.10 update, Epic added all the necessary files for the birthday event. Thanks to this, we also got the list of all Fortnite Birthday quests and rewards ahead of the release. This year’s quests grant 20,000 XP each, and it’s also possible to unlock a couple of free cosmetics with them.

This guide will explain how to complete every single quest for the birthday event.

Fortnite Birthday quests grant free rewards

This year’s Fortnite Birthday quests bring eight tasks that are relatively easy to complete. Each quest grants 20,000 XP, and it’s also possible to unlock three new cosmetic items for free by completing them.

Keep in mind that this is a limited-time event. Due to this, you’ll only have a week or two to complete all the quests and unlock exclusive rewards. These items most likely won’t come out to the Item Shop, so this is your only chance to earn them.

Without further ado, here are all the Fortnite Birthday quests and how you can complete them.

Wish the bus driver a happy birthday

This is one of the easiest Fortnite quests ever released. To complete it, you simply need to thank the bus driver before jumping off the bus. You only need to do this once, and the quest will be completed. By default, you do this by pressing the B key on the keyboard or an arrow down on a D-Pad.

Dance with characters in different matches

Dancing with characters in different matches is another easy quest. You simply need to approach an NPC and emote next to them. However, you need to do this in two different matches to complete the Fortnite birthday quest.

Collect Birthday Presents

Birthday Presents contain a lot of great items, including weapons. They can be found all over the island, including in chests, which makes this quest very simple. To complete it, you need to pick up three Birthday Presents during the event.

Land during Fortnite’s 6th Birthday

For this quest, you will simply need to jump out of the Battle Bus and land four times. However, make sure to thank the bus driver first!

Consume Birthday Cake

Fortnite Birthday Cake is another item that was unvaulted for the event. You can find birthday cakes all over the island as each named location has one. This quest requires you to consume a cake five times, and once you do so, you will receive 20,000 XP.

Use Balloons

Besides Birthday Presents and cakes, Epic Games has also unvaulted Balloons. You will need to use them six times during the birthday event to complete the quest.

Play matches

This straightforward quest requires you to play six matches in total. The quest isn’t something you need to be actively working on as it will be automatically completed once you get into six games.

Down opponents

All Fortnite Birthday quests are relatively easy, but this one might be a bit tough. This is the only quest that requires combat, and to complete it, you’ll have to down six enemies in total. If you struggle with this, you can get into Team Rumble or join Fortnite bot lobbies.
