Epic Games is ready to release another major Fortnite update. This will be the first big update in the OG Season, and it will come out on Thursday at 4 AM Eastern Time. Due to this, we have prepared the early Fortnite patch notes.
These patch notes will show all the big things that will likely come with the v27.10 update. Considering that the update will be big, you will have to download it and update your clients. Additionally, we expect Epic to take Fortnite servers down for a few hours.

The upcoming Fortnite update will bring secret OG Pass rewards
The v27.10 Fortnite update will bring a lot of new content. This content will be enabled later on, as Epic Games plans to bring Seasons 7 and 8 of Chapter 1 on Thursday This will be one of the two major updates that will be released during the OG Season.
Here are the things we expect to see with the update:
- Secret/bonus cosmetic items from the OG Pass revealed
- New cosmetics that will be released to the Item Shop
- Content for Seasons 7 and 8
- Potential files regarding Fortnite Chapter 5
- Map changes
With the Fortnite update, Epic will add all the necessary content for a hotfix that will also be released on Thursday. The hotfix will bring back many amazing things from two Chapter 1 seasons, including Pirate Cannons and camps, planes, the snow biome, and more.
The most exciting thing about the upcoming Fortnite update is the reveal of the secret items. You will be able to unlock them on Thursday, but Epic Games will add them with the update shortly before. These items will require you to unlock the other bonus rewards in order to add them to your locker.
Epic Games also revealed the addition of Lewis Hamilton to Fortnite. The popular Formula One driver will be added with the v27.10 update and will likely come to the Item Shop over the next few days.
