Epic Games has prepared another Fortnite update that will drop this week. This will be the third major update of the season, so it will bring a lot of new content. From new cosmetics to new events, players have many things to look forward to. Furthermore, as the update comes out in October, it will almost certainly include some Halloween-themed stuff.
In this article, we will take a look at the early patch notes for the v31.30 update.
The upcoming Fortnite update will be massive
The next Fortnite update will come out early this week, either on Tuesday or Wednesday. It will be one of the final updates of Chapter 5 – Season 4, which is why we expect many new things to arrive with it. The highlight of the update will certainly be Fortnitemares 2024, an annual Halloween event. Besides that, Epic may release a new Item Shop, event files, and much more.
Here is everything we expect with the v31.10 Fortnite update:
- Fortnitemares 2024
- The release date of Fortnitemares 2024 is currently unknown, but Epic will either add all the files for it with the next update or just event teasers.
- New Item Shop
- Before Season 4 came out, Fortnite leakers showed a new Marvel-only Item Shop that was in development. The shop is supposed to come out during the season, and the next update may bring it out.
- New skins and other cosmetics
- Fortnite x Saw collaboration
- New Marvel collaboration
- New Level Up quest pack
- Disney Villains (possible hints)
- New NPCs
- Map changes and Halloween decorations
- Possible event files
- New season-ending event was recently leaked, and Epic may add some files for it with the upcoming update.
- New and unvaulted items
- Fortnite OG Season teasers
- Conclusion of the Birthday event
- Possible mini event pass
Epic Games will release a lot of other content with the update, but we’ll have to wait for it to come out to find out about all the changes. Keep in mind that this is a big update, so there will be server downtime that will last for a few hours.
