Fortnite v30.40 early patch notes: Season 4 leaks, event, Fall Guys, and more

Fortnite will get another big update soon, which will be the last update of Chapter 5 Season 3. These updates are generally very exciting, as they contain interesting info about the next season. On top of that, we will get new cosmetics, possible gameplay changes, and more. Besides Fortnite Battle Royale, other game modes, like LEGO Fortnite, will also receive new content.

The next Fortnite update will bring many new things

The next Fortnite update is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6. Considering that this is a major update, servers will go down, and we will have to download the update. Furthermore, the server downtime may last for at least two hours, meaning that the game won’t be available during this period.

Thanks to leaks and some announcements from Epic, we now know some of the things that will come on Tuesday. Here are some of the highlights of the updates:

The entire Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass may have already been leaked, and the upcoming update may confirm it. Knowing Epic, the development team will likely put many new files in the game data, hinting at the future content. Considering that the next season will have a Marvel theme, we expect several big-name superheroes and villains to make it to the game.

Epic also added a lot of files regarding the Fortnite x Fall Guys collaboration with the last update. However, these files haven’t been fully enabled yet. August 6 is the official start date of the collab, and this is when we will get access to new Fall Guys-themed maps and skins.
