Developer Techland has shown off a new trailer for the upcoming Dying Light 2: Stay Human, focusing on combat and parkour.

Shown as part of the Xbox Gamescom Showcase, the footage shows off just some of new protagonist Aiden Caldwell’s moves. He’s got twice as many at his disposal as the first game, including vaults, ground slams and more. Aiden will also have access to a few new tools, like a rope swing and even a paraglider to strike at foes from above.

You’ll need all these and more at your disposal, as it’s not just the undead Virals you’ll have to face. The city of Villedor’s humans have broken off into several factions, and you’ll be choosing sides as you leverage relationships between each one. You’ll also have to deal with marauding bandits wearing medieval-like armour in what the developers call a ‘modern Dark Ages’. These humans will be a lot more capable too, having had 20 years since the first game to get used to the post-apocalyptic world.

You can check out the new trailer showing off Dying Light 2: Stay Human‘s combat for yourself below. The game lands on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on December 7.
