Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is being classified as a souls-like title and deservedly so. The difficult nature of the enemies and bosses within, such as the infuriating Zhang Liang, continues to frustrate a large number of players.

When things get difficult, players often turn to others for help in order to make the experience much easier. With this in mind, fans of the Team Ninja-developed game are now asking if it has a multiplayer feature that they can use when playing. If this is something that you’re curious about, then you’ve come to the right place.

Here’s all that we know about the availability of a multiplayer mode in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Does Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty have a multiplayer mode?

The good news is that it does! Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty does indeed feature a multiplayer mode that allows a maximum of two players to join you on your quest. This means that you won’t have to struggle through the story by yourself any longer.

Additionally, it seems like Team Ninja largely copied most of the multiplayer mechanics from their Nioh series. This is because in Nioh, you originally needed to sacrifice Ochoko cups at shrines before they could join. In the developer’s latest creation, you’ll also have to sacrifice an item, albeit a different one called Tiger Seals.

Keep in mind, though, that if other players join your session, the enemy difficulty will automatically scale to make it an even playing field. However, the benefits of having allies by your side definitely outweighs the drawbacks it presents.

For instance, if you die while in a co-op session, your teammates will be able to revive you immediately. Just be careful not to go too crazy with the deaths as there is a limit to how many times you can get revived.
