After initially enjoying a widely praised release, Diablo 4 is now suffering a case of the post-launch blues after players started having trouble staying entertained while venturing through Sanctuary. However, it appears interest in the latest demon-slaying series entry has been revitalized once again after a number of players found the perfect dungeon that has the right mix of monster density and enjoyable objectives, leading to the community dubbing it the “Dopamine Tunnels”.

Though diehard players may have already had their own lists of Diablo 4 best dungeons to farm in the past, it seems this latest discovery of the Scosglen-based Domhainne Tunnels trumps all previous recommendations due to the large concentration of monsters found within and the obscene amounts of experience you get after slaying them all. Over on Reddit, multiple user have even created posts celebrating this latest development as one user said: “Domhainne Tunnels is how this game should always feel.”

The same Redditor would go on to say that they hadn’t played in three weeks. But after reading that mob density had been boosted “and that Domhainne was where it’s at,” they immediately jumped in and haven’t stopped playing since. “I’m a HC player – so it’s just the right mix of ass-clenching fear and close calls and fast-paced energy,” they continued. “Blizzard, this is your baseline now. Anything less than this is fxxxxxx slow.”

Naturally, many other players shared their own experiences with other euphoria-inducing dungeons as one commenter mentioned that Sarat’s Lair and Uldur’s Cave were also ones to look out for. “Even if you don’t run them just to optimize your xp/hr, they are [still] fun to play,” they added. “Both [are] very well designed and atmospheric dungeons with little to [no] backtracking.”

Some are predictably worried that Blizzard will patch these dungeons out soon as the mob density within these locations are evidently much larger than in other places. Only time will tell if they do, but for now, we suggest simply savoring the mob clearing satisfaction and subsequent XP boost while you still can.
