The preview shows the immense scale of the Guardians’ ongoing war against Calus’s Shadow Legion and the soldiers of The Witness. The latter is also shown in the initial part of the video floating through scattered pieces of floating debris, indicating their forces had already destroyed an opposing faction.

The bright locale of Neomuna was also exhibited as this is where most of the story – and the war – will revolve around. Cloud Striders, the city’s protectors, though often capable, have been overwhelmed by the Cabal forces and the Tormentors, which has led to them asking for assistance from the Vanguard.

The all-new Strand subclasses are also put on full display once again with all of its unique abilities included. Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters will all be given special skills that allow them to control energy all in different ways.
