It’s been no secret that the Destiny 2 community hasn’t exactly enjoyed the main storyline of the latest Lightfall expansion. Most players have complained that the recently released DLC does almost nothing to advance the plot of the Light and Darkness Saga and instead almost feels like a filler.

Fortunately, it seems that Lightfall’s post-game content is slightly making up for the huge disappointment that is its campaign. Some level-headed Redditors have even created posts celebrating the features that were made available after the story.

One user in particular seems to be enjoying a few specific inclusions such as Terminal Overload, which apparently gives the game “a WoW dynamic world event feeling,” even though it’s slightly lengthy. The Exotic quests and Archivist missions are also a welcome addition that brings players more details on the lore of Neomuna.

Those commenting under the same post also seem to be in agreement with the author’s sentiment as more people similarly seem to be enjoying the post-game content of Lightfall. Unfortunately, there are also a few that aren’t as happy with what they’ve experienced so far.

Some are particularly disappointed by the Hall of Heroes quests, whose objectives are apparently made up of dull components like patrols, public event completions, and material collection. However, this seems to be the only content that players are frustrated with as most of the other ones on offer were much more enjoyable.

Even though the main plot of Lightfall fell extremely short of the mark, the news that its post-game content is somewhat up to par should be a welcome one for those that are yet to purchase the DLC. But since the story makes up a huge part of the expansion, it may be better to hold off on purchasing it for now – at least until it goes on an inevitable sale.
