Destiny 2 fans are currently in the early stages of Episode Heresy Act 1. Bungie has recently confirmed massive buffs that were not revealed at launch, and they have also just released the update 8.2.0.1 patch notes. As for the future of D2 this year, Bungie hasn’t revealed much unlike leaks. Bungie is cracking down on leaks by getting them removed, but right now there’s gameplay of a new Destiny 2 weapon that’s “so good it feels like you’re cheating”.

Bungie crack down on Destiny 2 leaks

We recently reported on leaked cutscenes for Destiny 2 Heresy Act 2, and these leaked scenes came via BungieLeaks. However, they have now been removed due to copyright strikes.

BungieLeaks said it “Seems Bungie is cracking down on leaks” as the dataminer “received DMCA/Copyright Strikes on [their] Heresy Audio Dump and multiple posts on Twitter, including the “Raise a Hymn” and “Statue” cutscenes!”.

Regarding whether leaks will stop entirely, BungieLeaks has said, “I don’t think so, it seems Bungie has mostly gone after audio/video stuff relating to leaks [because] Nothing about info/strings has been claimed yet”.

This hopefully means datamined descriptions and reveals can continue in the absence of videos and audio.

“New Land Beyond is so good it feels like you’re cheating”

BungieLeaks recently revealed that No Land Beyond will be added to Destiny 2, but this time as New Land Beyond. It will be a pre-order bonus presumably for the Apollo expansion, and it has exotic perks that include an “80% damage buff”.

While video leaks are likely to be removed, the recently scrubbed YouTube channel, Kanye 4 King, has come back and uploaded a video titled, “New Land Beyond is so good it feels like you’re cheating…”.

They have also uploaded a “damage test video” of the New Land Beyond Exotic perk. You can try to watch these video leaks on YouTube, but there is the high probability they will be removed by Bungie.
