Developer KoekeN Interactive has announced space-faring adventure Deliver Us Mars, coming soon to consoles and PC.

The game will be the follow-up to 2019 adventure Deliver Us the Moon only with Frontier Foundry taking on publishing duties this time around. As the title suggests, we’ll head to the red planet for a new story set ten years after the first. We’re promised that fans of the original will enjoy the connections, but you won’t need to have played that one to follow the sequel.

For now, the team is keeping further details under wraps. However, a teaser trailer gives fans a first look at the brand new protagonist. After crash landing on Mars, she digs out a familiar looking drone she quickly reactivates before setting out. Expect an “emotional and exciting” narrative experience with new mechanics such as climbing and more.

We quite enjoyed our time with Deliver Us the Moon, and you can read Josh’s verdict of that game over here. Frontier Foundry hasn’t given the sequel an exact release date yet, but we’ll hear more over the coming months. Expect Deliver Us Mars to arrive soon on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
