Devolver Digital and Massive Monster have dropped a new trailer for upcoming rougue-lite Cult of the Lamb.

The game puts you in the wooly fleece of a possessed lamb, who’s saved from death by a mysterious stranger. Naturally, the only way to repay this debt is by forming a cult of cutesy animals in the stranger’s name. To form this cult, you’ll venture out into a cute, cartoonish land and twisting it to serve your dark master. Think of something like 00’s TV animation Happy Tree Friends, and you’re on the right lines.

You’ll have to collect resources to build structures and perform dark rituals, along with reinforcing your flock’s faith with regular sermons too. In between, you’ll head out into the randomly generated world to defeat hordes of non-believers. Expect some tough boss battles, a little bullet hell and plenty of off-kilter sights as you spread the good word.

You can check out the trailer for the game down below. Cult of the Lamb doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but is expected to arrive at some point in 2022. It’ll be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC when it does.
