Publisher Playism has revealed that Bright Memory: Infinite will be out later this month, on July 21st, and has released a new trailer.

Check out the new trailer below:

The description reads:

“Bright Memory: Infinite is an all-new lightning-fast fusion of the FPS and action genres, created by FYQD-Studio. Combine a wide variety of skills and abilities to unleash dazzling combo attacks.”

As you can see, the game looks hectic and violent. The heroine carries with her a sword, along with a bevvy of guns, and she seems able to zip around environments like nobody’s business.

Playism revealed Bright Memory: Infinite back in 2020. It is, rather staggeringly, the work of only one developer, Zeng Xiancheng. Last year, we got another look at the game in action. Then, it was meant to launch on consoles last November, before being delayed.

The crux of the plot is that, in the year 2036, a black hole has appeared in the sky. You play as Sheila, a member of the Supernatural Science Research Organisation. It falls to you to investigate this phenomenon, and, if possible, put a stop to it. As it’s causing all sorts of inter-dimensional trouble.

The game is out on July 21st, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch.
