The Black Ops 6 Prestige Master title is one most players are aiming to achieve before the next Call of Duty title releases next year. Completing all ten Prestiges and another one thousand levels is no easy task but the thought of earning some exclusive rewards is enough to keep players coming back for more.

In its opening months, Treyarch’s latest launch has become the most successful Call of Duty in history with millions continuing to load into matches. Before you start climbing through the ranks after Prestige 10, one player has become the first in the world to reach Prestige Master and isn’t best pleased with the rewards on offer.

Black Ops 6 Prestige Master rewards

To reach Prestige Master so quickly, Black Ops 6 player Aldredd managed to use a crafty Zombies exploit to earn huge amounts of XP with minimal effort. As a result, they’ve become the very first person to reach the highest level on offer across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. What exactly do you get for becoming a Black Ops 6 Prestige Master? The player posted a short video showcasing the spoils.

There are a total of six rewards on offer including the Samuels Operator, a GobbleGum pack, and a PP-919 blueprint that heavily resembles the Razorback from Black Ops 3. Despite the throwbacks to previous Black Ops games, Aldredd isn’t thrilled with the rewards that are on offer. “Not really good for hitting 1000,” says the disappointed player.

They’re not the only ones disappointed with the mediocre rewards for reaching the very top of the Black Ops 6 levelling system. “Good to know I don’t have to waste my life to get there,” comments one fan. It’s safe to say the lack of items that stand out from the rest of the Prestige rewards hasn’t gone down well.

A tease of the future?

While the Black Ops 6 Prestige Master rewards may not be the best, they could point fans towards the next chapter of the Black Ops story. With Call of Duty 2025 rumoured to be a direct sequel to Black Ops 2, the presence of Samuels in Black Ops 6 suggests there could be some truth to it.

Of course, it’s still several months until we get any kind of intel on what the next Call of Duty has in store but with Black Ops 2 holding a special place in the hearts of many Call of Duty fans, it could be another big year for the franchise.
