The new kid on the block added in Season 1, Krig C has a stiff competition to go against. Fortunately, it brings many good things to the table – accurate short-burst potential, decent damage, and excellent handling. However, it may have a bit slower fire rate than other ARs, and full burst is wildly inaccurate. In addition, you have to reach page 6 of the Season 1 Battle Pass to unlock it. With that out of the way, the best build for Krig C looks to improve its strengths to make it a quick-burst wonder. We’ll explain how to do it.
- Very accurate short burst shots
- Decent damage
- Excellent handling
- Full-auto burst is near-useless
- Slower rate of fire
Best Black Ops 6 Krig C attachments
With this build, we aim to improve Krig C’s TTK while enhancing its movement and recoil capabilities. That will make the gun even easier to handle, so you can focus on acquiring targets and fragging. In addition, with this build, the gun can perform well at nearly any range, as long as you keep the firing rhythm to short bursts.
Weapon part | Attachment | Unlock level |
---|---|---|
Optic | Kepler Red Dot | DM-10 Level 10 |
Barrel | Reinforced Barrel | Level 41 |
Underbarrel | Vertical Foregrip | Level 2 |
Rear Grip | Commando Grip | Level 40 |
Stock | Balanced Stock | Level 28 |
If you want to stay out of the enemy’s radar, you can replace the Balanced Stock with the Suppressor Muzzle. This will give you silenced bullets, keeping your position hidden on the minimap. The trade-off is that you’re going to be slower overall.
As always, the optic choice is down to personal preference. We like the Kepler Red Dot on Krig C, but something like Kepler Microflex can work just as well. The Reinforced Barrel serves to increase the weapon’s bullet velocity, which in effect increases your effective range to keep you competitive across all ranges. The Vertical Foregrip is there to lower recoil, which works together with the Commando Grip to add to the weapon’s stability. This combo makes the gun’s already good handling even better – using it is a breeze. Lastly, the Balanced Stock is there to improve your movement while ADS, as well as your strafe speed and hipfire move speed. This will make you more mobile during firefights and have an easier time getting away from a nasty situation or if you have to reposition.
Best Black Ops 6 Krig C perks and equipment
With the best attachments sorted, now’s the time to pick out the Perks and other equipment. Here’s what we recommend you get.
Perks
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Tracker
- Perk 3: Cold-Blooded
- Perk 4: Flak Jacket
- Wildcard: Perk Greed
As you can tell, we’re using the Perk Greed Wildcard to get access to the fourth perk. That’s because we aim to have three Recon perks to proc Combat Specialty. Ghost makes you invisible to enemy detection, letting you retain your position for longer. Tracker lets you see enemy footsteps, so you know where your target is headed next. And Cold-Blooded doesn’t allow enemy AI targeting, such as copter shots and similar effects. All combined gives you the Recon Specialty, which is still one of the strongest in the game – letting you see enemies through walls for a bit after respawning. Lastly, we use Flak Jacket to minimize damage from explosives that will invariably be thrown your way.
Equipment
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Flashbang
- Field Upgrade: Trophy System
- Secondary: 9mm PM
Semtex remains one of the strongest throwables in the game. Its ability to stick to targets, doorways, and other surfaces is unmatched when it comes to setup potential. A flashbang is a good situational grenade that can be used to line up shots or to give you breathing room to reposition. Lastly, the Trophy System is great for protecting you from incoming enemy projectiles. Combined with the Flak Jacket perk, you’ll be able to turtle up a position with ease. Lastly, pick the 9mm PM as your secondary backup option. This gun is dependable in a pinch and has decent stats for when you need to switch in a hurry.
Best alternatives to Krig C
Krig C has a lot going on to recommend it, but it might not be what you’re looking for. A similar AR option would be the AS VAL and you can’t go wrong by going back to basics with an XM4. If you want to take the duelling potential of Krig C to the next level, you should look at marksman rifles, like AEK-973 or SWAT 5.56.
That brings us to the end of the Black Ops 6 loadout for Krig C. Make sure to check out our other loadout guides, like the one for the Jackal PDW, currently one of the best weapons in the game.
