Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been updated with support for PS4 Pro.
A 761MB title update released for the PS4 version earlier today states that the game now includes “4K support on PlayStation 4 Pro”. Early reports on NeoGAF, however, suggest that the resolution upgrade may be limited to the HUD, similar to last week’s Overwatch patch.
One user, in fact, says that they think the update makes the game look “worse”, with the game still supposedly running at its original 900p resolution.
If that’s the case, you have to wonder why, especially given Sony’s supposed requirement for Pro-enhanced games to run at a minimum 1080p resolution.
I’m checking it out now. If I find anything different, I’ll report back.
