Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, easily one of the greatest games in the Assassin’s Creed series so far, finally arrives on Xbox Game Pass today, ready for new and returning players to discover the wonders of the Aegean.
For anyone who hasn’t yet played this expansive and epic chapter of the Assassin’s Creed mythos, you play as either Alexios or Kassandra, with almost every decision you make affecting the outcome of the game’s story, allowing players to choose the path they wish their assassin to walk.
In addition, the game boasts one of the series’ largest ever maps with the islands of Greece providing plenty of varied and challenging landscapes to explore and traverse, including the ability to sail the waters around and between all the islands discovering new battles and locations both above and below the crystalline blue surface of the seas.

So, what are you waiting for, if I haven’t already sold you on the game with those descriptions above, trust me when I say, it is, in my personal opinion, hands down, the best game in the series so far, both in terms of gameplay and story, and that’s before you even get into the game’s even more mythos expanding DLC chapters.
Also, due to an update last year, gamers playing the game on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S will be able to play the game in 60 FPS.
