The excitement surrounding Assassin’s Creed Mirage is at its highest, with the launch now closer than ever. However, it seems some lucky fans will get to experience Basim’s beginnings earlier than expected, as pre-orders have apparently started being delivered to households ahead of time.
Images of the game’s physical editions have already been shared through various social media sites ahead of the Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date, much to the chagrin of those yet to receive their own copies. Of course, with numerous fans set to start playing the game ahead of the actual launch, it should only be a matter of time before story spoilers are posted, so we suggest caution while scrolling through Reddit, Twitter, or Facebook.
Based on one Redditor’s post, their Collector’s Edition pre-order – along with all the goodies it contains – has already made its way to their doorstep. This includes a detailed map of the game’s setting, a unique steelbook, a 78-page artbook, a replica of the protagonist’s brooch, the game’s soundtrack, and all 12 or so inches of Basim in figurine form. It’s currently unclear, though, why some people were able to receive it much earlier than others, as not everyone can enjoy these exclusive items yet.
Alas, digital-only players got the short end of the stick once again, as these early copies are only for those who pre-ordered the physical version of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. That said, you won’t have to wait too long now to experience Ubisoft’s latest stealth installment since it’s set to go live soon. However, we would still recommend steering clear of the game’s official forums for now so you won’t be surprised by any unwanted story teasers.
