ARK Survival Ascended is now available on all three major platforms meaning PS5, Xbox, and PC. Although rough around the edges thanks to its early access format, the game is breathtakingly beautiful and it is lots of fun. It has a fantastic community of players, and ASA is only going to get better with updates. The first event is set to begin very soon as Studio Wildcard has confirmed the official start date for the ARK Survival Ascended Turkey Trial event, along with all of the new skins coming out.
The game is a full remake of ASE using Unreal Engine 5. There is crossplay between PS5, Xbox, and PC, but what makes it better than most other games is the use of cross-platform mods. You can download and install mods whether on PlayStation or Xbox, but, of course, they can only be made on PC. Away from just the ability to download mods, the game is also packed with plenty of new features and improvements.
It is a magnificent spectacle full of dinosaurs to tame and players to befriend. Events will happen throughout its existence, and tomorrow will see the beginning of Studio Wildcard’s Turkey Trial.
When does the ARK Survival Ascended Turkey Trial event start?
The start date for the ARK Survival Ascended Turkey Trial event is December 8th. This is confirmed by Studio Wildcard via survivetheark on Twitter. Unfortunately, there is no mention of exactly what time the event will begin. There is also no word on when it will end to make way for Winter Wonderland.
As for why it didn’t happen before or during Thanksgiving, it’s because ASA arrived late on PS5. Per Studio Wildcard’s official statement, ‘the event required a major new version that would have been incompatible with PlayStation’. So, in order to fully test the event pipeline and allow everyone to experience the celebration, it had to be delayed from December 1st to December 8th.
