Respawn and EA has released the first trailer for Vantage, the new legend coming in Season 14 of Apex Legends.

Vantage was formally revealed via the latest entry in the Stories from the Outlands series. She’ll join the playable roster of heroes in the battle royale shooter’s next major update next month. Entitled Hunted, the season will fit Vantage’s persona of a survivor, as evidenced by the video and the blurb. “The only rule Mara’s mother ever gave her was to survive. In the ruins of the G.D.S. Vantage, that’s a hard rule to follow.”

The new season will arrive in just a couple of weeks’ time, and from the game’s website we can gleam a few bits of info on the upcoming season. As well as Vantage herself, the game’s King’s Canyon map will be getting its latest overhaul to become Reforged King’s Canyon. On top of that, the new season will bring about a level cap increase and a brand new battle pass.

As for specifics, we’ll have to wait until later in the week. The game’s launch trailer will arrive this Thursday, and will presumably reveal a little more about Vantage’s abilities and what players can expect in the season. In the meantime, check out the Apex Legends Stories from the Outlands introduction trailer for Vantage below. Apex Legends is available now on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Respawn is also said to be staffing up for a single player Apex Legends adventure in the near future.
