In an exciting update for F1 22, the official F1 racing game from EA Sports has added the Alfa Romeo F1 Team into the game. This is ahead of the F1 pre-season test coming soon. What is most exciting about this, it is the first time players can try out a new vehicle before the season starts soon.
What is the New Car Coming to F1 22?
The new car in question is the Alfa Romeo C43 in Time Trial mode. As you can see above the car will be in red and black. This is also a bit of a taste of what we can expect from the next edition of EA Sports’ F1 Games.
The statements in the official press release read:
“Pre-season testing is a highly anticipated moment in the Formula 1 calendar and the first opportunity for fans to see how the new cars perform on the grid,” said John Merchant, F1 Global Brand Director at EA SPORTS. “We’re delighted to become part of the 2023 re-start by giving our players the opportunity to be the first to race and test the C43.”

“Fans mean everything to us, and to be able to give them the chance to drive our new Alfa Romeo F1 Team C43 before they even see it on track in real life is something that was never done before in the official F1 video games,” said Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Managing Director of Sauber Group and Alfa Romeo F1 Team Representative. “We’re proud to be at the leading edge of this pioneering approach, but this is not the whole story: we have a lot more in store, planned for the season, and we can’t wait to show you.”
