We are now over half way through the season and it shows no signs of slowing down with the weekend offering plenty of great moments and games. PSG managed to return back to winning ways, despite the ding dong of a game they were involved in with Lille. Whilst Arsenal and Liverpool returned to winning form too in the Premier League.

FIFA 23 TOTW 17 Predictions:

Last week’s TOTW had some good players in it with Cristiano Ronaldo the main player featured, however this week looks like it could be even better. Making weekend league a must play this weekend.

  • GK, Bernd Leno (Fulham/Germany) – Brighton were unlucky to lose to Fulham, with Fulham owing their success to Bernd Leno’s seven saves and a clean sheet.
  • RWB, Emerson Royal (Spurs/Brazil) – It is zero to hero for Emerson Royal who was booed off the pitch just a month ago. Now he was cheered off the pitch after opening  the scoring and always looked dangerous against West Ham.
  • RB, James Tavernier (England/Rangers) – Tavernier is always incredibly popular on FIFA and whenever he gets a special it becomes a desirable card. After his two goals against Livingston, he is likely to feature in this week’s TOTW.
  • CB, Amir Rrahmani (Napoli/Albania) – Napoli are one of the most in form teams in Europe right now and every week you can almost guarantee one of their players to feature. This week their centre half Amir Rrahmani was the stand out player.
  • RM, Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United/Portugal) – Bruno was deployed out wide in this game against Leicester and got two assists from this new position.
  • CM, Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City/Belgium) – Despite drawing against Forest at the weekend, City beat title challengers Arsenal last week and De Bruyne was key to this win, with a goal and an assist.
  • RM, Jonas Hofmann (Borussia Monchengladbach/Germany) – Another player who excelled in a new position this week was Hofmann who was very important in their win against Bayern Munich. He grabbed himself a goal and two assists in the match.
  • ST, Dusan Tadic (Ajax/Serbia) – We have predicted Tadic a few times this season, and we feel like this week he just can’t be ignored. He got two goals, and an assist, in the 4-0 drubbing of Rotterdam.
  • ST, Kylian Mbappe (PSG/France) – PSG against Lille at the weekend was a classic, with PSG losing until their superstars dragged them through to win. Mbappe scored two goals to get a win.
