A wireless SNES controller may be coming to the Nintendo Switch, as an FCC filing for a model was spotted by Resetera user Link83.
There’s no official word as yet, but on the back of this controller, the ‘HAC’ model number is printed across it. This is specifically designated for Switch hardware and peripherals. Last year, Nintendo released a NES controller for the Switch with the release of classic NES games as part of the Switch Online membership.
Nintendo has been turning back the clock of late, with the recent remasters of Doom, Doom 2 and Doom 3, so maybe we’ll see SNES games appear on the Switch too.
