Baldur’s Gate 3’s UI issues relating to the version info of the game being onscreen constantly unless the player opts to remove the entire UI by pressing F10 is set to be addressed by the game’s developers, Larian Studios. The upcoming fix was announced on social media by Larian Studios Director of Publishing, Michael Douse.
Taking to Twitter, Douse initially noted that players can remove the game’s UI by pressing F10. When asked by one fan of the series to get rid of the version info displayed via the game’s UI on the top right-hand corner of the screen, Douse revealed that Larian were working on a solution to this problem. He replied, “This is coming.”
Fans will likely be delighted to hear this news as many have been citing this small issue as one of the few problems they have with Baldur’s Gate 3. Alongside this, the only real issue of note for players appears to be the lack of any ability to customize their playable character after the initial customization stage. This issue arose after fans had been pleading with Larian for a 72-hour character creator-only head start.
These small issues haven’t stopped Baldur’s Gate 3 from becoming a huge success for Larian Studios and a pure joy for fans of the series. The game recently broke into Steam’s top 10 chart for all-time peak player count boasting an impressive 712,281 players playing concurrently. Sitting at ninth place on Steam’s all-time peak player count leaderboard sees it rise above games like Goose Goose Duck and Apex Legends. However, it is still a fair bit away from eighth place held by Hogwarts Legacy which was released earlier this year and maxed out at an all-time concurrent player count of 879,303.
