Dragonflight Mythic+ Season one, although being an expansion to an immensely popular MMORPG, doesn’t take its sweet time before getting into the fun part as many other MMORPG do.

Instead, only after being a few hours into the game, you can get to the Court of the Stars, which is one of the four returning dungeons that has been added to this pool. Before doing that, however, you need to take the portal that gets you to Dalaran.

Unfortunately for players that haven’t played the game in a while, getting to Dalaran might be a little tricky, because of which we’ll go explain in steps how to get there.

Step 1: Reach Valdrakken

For easier access to specific new dungeons that have been added to the game, there are now portals in the capital city of Valdrakken that can be used to get to various important places. One of them can even be used to get you to Dalaran, which is the one we’re after today.

Now, getting to Valdrakken is pretty straight forward, as you don’t necessarily have to wait for any significant point in the game, and can just go there straight away. Simply open the map, left click on the city to make a marker there, and get to walking. There’s a walking path towards the Northern part of the city you can use.

The way we recommend, however, is that you first reach the Ruby Life Pools, which is the place where you unlock Dragonriding. You can simply do this by progressing in the introductory quest line in the first 30 minutes of the story

Using Dragonriding, getting to Valdrakken, or to any city for that matter, is a walk in the park. Or should one say a fly in the den?

Step 2: Access the Portal to Legion Dalaran

At reaching Valdrakken, walk towards the stairs that lead to the Seat of the Aspects, right next to the Valdrakken Treasury Hoard, and you’ll see three portals towards your right. One of them will lead to Jade Forest, the other to Shadowmoon Valley, and finally the third will lead you to where you want to go, Legion Dalaran.

Simply walk up to it and interact with it and you’ll be instantly transported to Dalaran. From here, you could go to multiple places, including the Broken Isles, as well as the capital city of Suramar, which is how you get to the Court of Stars as well.

Alternate Method of Getting to Dalaran

If you’re a player who took part in the original Legion campaign and happens to have a Dalaran Hearthstone in your inventory, then you can pretty much skip all of this and use that to get to Dalaran instantly.

Final Thoughts

Dragonflight seems to have had a very strong start with the first season, with it bringing back fan-favorite dungeons to give older players who had dropped the game a reason to come back. 

If you’re a player who missed the 2016 Legion event when the Court of Stars was first introduced, then there’s no better time to experience it than now.
