The small archipelagic locale contains plenty of significant areas which players can start dropping into once it goes live. So to help you prepare for the return of Resurgence, we’ll be taking a look at all the POIs that the latest warzone arena brings.

Here are all the locations you can expect in Ashika Island.

All Warzone 2 Resurgence Map Locations

Located in the Asia Pacific region, Ashika Island contains a total of seven main POIs, which we’ve listed below. It’s worth noting that this new Warzone 2 locale will be much smaller compared to Al Mazrah, thereby allowing players to participate in shorter matches.

Here are all of the areas players can expect in Ashika Island:

Ōganikku Farms

Now abandoned, Ōganikku Farms was originally Ashika Island’s busy industrial region. Residential areas and numerous warehouses containing loot can be found scattered throughout the area.

Town Center

The Town Center is the main hub of the small island where a variety of significant structures, such as the Event Center Building and the Gas Station, are all located. With plenty of buildings to explore, a large number of players will most likely be dropping into this Warzone 2 section in every game.

Beach Club

Arguably the smallest POI in Ashika Island, the Beach Club still contains plenty to discover like the Aquarium and the Demolition Site.

Tsuki Castle

The centerpiece of the map and the likely focal point of each squad drop, Tsuki Castle is home to the Main Stronghold, the largest structure in the island. Because of the vast ground that it covers, those that can come out on top here will be able to claim the best loot.

Port Ashika

Another industrial area of Ashika Island, Port Ashika holds several wide open POIs like the Floating Gas Station and the Mechanics Yard. Be careful when looting out in the open because there may not be enough cover to protect you.

Residential

As you may have gathered from the area’s name, the Residential area mainly contains inhabitable buildings such as Apartments and Houses. However, there are also a few industrial facilities located within like the Power Plant and the Water Treatment Facility.

Shipwreck

The Shipwreck area is a haven for fans of Shipment as it contains a number of empty containers and beached cargo tankers. Luckily, this POI has more space than the notorious close-quarters map so maneuvering around will be much easier.

The POIs in Al Mazrah, the main Warzone 2 map, will also be receiving a few updates as part of the Season 2 patch. This includes the addition of a Downed Plane at the Sattiq Cave region, a new Underground Cave Network that can be found in the Rohan Oil and Taraq Village section, and a new Passenger Train containing rare loot that will be steadily travelling throughout the map.

You’ll be able to find out more about the new Resurgence map and the updates made to Al Mazrah in the latest developer blog post. Infinity Ward and Raven Software have also released a preview video of the Warzone 2 map itself through the official CoD YouTube channel. See it for yourself below:

According to the official CoD announcement, Ashika Island will also be another DMZ infiltration option in addition to Al Mazrah. With this in mind, Warzone 2 players can finally enjoy more offerings for two of its most popular game modes.
