You can stay warm in Tears of the Kingdom by eating cooked food that provides cold resistance, standing near a campfire, or wearing warm clothes.

Tears of the Kingdom cooking grants all manner of buffs and effects, including cold-resistant recipes, though that benefit is limited to dishes that include spicy peppers, such as Spicy Sauteed Peppers for example, or other cold-resistant ingredients. The cold resistance boost isn’t huge but will keep you warm, typically long enough to find a more reliable source of warmth. Crafting a campfire and firing it up using flint or a fire weapon, then resting or standing near it prevents Link from taking on cold damage, effectively keeping him warm. Similarly, you can light weapons made of wood at a campfire then carry that fire with you as a source of warmth. The weapon stays lit until you put it away or the fire degrades the weapon’s durability enough that it breaks.

Lastly, the easiest way to keep warm in Tears of the Kingdom is to find and equip warm clothing and armor.
