How to unlock colors

To unlock colors in Street Fighter 6, you need to buy them at the in-game shop, or pick up dyes in World Tour mode. To unlock a color, you’ll need to purchase it with either 1000 Drive Tickets or 50 Fighter Coins, the latter being the premium currency you’ll need to pay for. If you’re not sure how to get Drive Tokens in Street Fighter 6 though, we’ve got you covered within another guide. It’s worth noting that you’ll also start out with some colors and costumes unlocked for free if you purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate editions of the game.

If you’re in World Tour mode though, the system works a little differently. By breaking open destructible objects or defeating low level enemies around the world, you can pick up dyes. Collect enough of these and you’ll be able to change your character’s colors while roaming the open world.

How to equip colors

To change your current colors and equip a new one, click on a character in the character selection screen, and switch over to the tab for color customisation. In World Tour mode, head over to a Body Shop, and use some of the dyes you’ve collected to change the base color of your garments.

That’s how to unlock colors in Street Fighter 6, for both the World Tour mode and the rest of the game. If you’re grinding to unlock colors though, it’s worth making sure you know if Street Fighter 6 has cross progression, should you be playing the game on more than one device.
