You have without a doubt come across various PDAs while traversing the Exclusion Zone in Stalker 2. These modern pieces of technology seem ubiquitous among the stalkers you see, meet, and kill, not to mention those scattered around the map. They often carry vital information, locations of caches, stalker correspondence, lore notes, and more. So what to do with them after they’ve served their purpose? We’ve been hoarding ours during our initial playthrough of Stalker 2 until we discovered what to do with them. We’ll share our findings with you, so keep reading.

What should you do with used PDAs in Stalker 2?

After you’ve used the PDA, you can safely sell it to a trader. They’re not worth much, but that’s still better than nothing. Just make sure that you have used them before selling them. Most of the common PDAs you encounter will automatically download their contents to your own PDA when used. These can be sold right after. However, if a PDA has a red checkmark, then that signifies that it’s quest-related. You shouldn’t sell those yet. Instead, complete their quest and once the checkmark is cleared, you can safely sell those PDAs as well.

You can sell extra PDAs to any trader in the game, most of which can be found in the Zone’s major settlements like Zalissya or the Slag Heap. Otherwise, all those PDAs will weigh you down, so your inventory’s carry capacity will suffer while you contemplate what to do with them. Even after they’re sold, you can access any PDA’s notes by using your own.

Selling items is a good way to get the funds to upgrade and repair your gear. If you have broken weapons lying around, we can explain what to do with them as well. Similarly, collecting and offloading artifacts is a good way to boost your pocket change.
