Without leaning on Technicians to upgrade and repair your weapons and gear, you’ll have a tough time surviving the irradiated plains of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. While we wouldn’t say their locations on the map are convenient, they are plentiful, with Technicians available in most of the regions that make up the Zone. More importantly, as you pick up better weapons and gear, you’ll find that Technicians in the early zones like Zalissya and the Slag Heap aren’t capable of installing certain upgrades, forcing you to seek out Techs with better upgrade skills. In this guide, we’ll walk you through all Technician locations in Stalker 2.

There are a total of 10 Technician locations in Stalker 2. They are available exclusively in major camps such as Zalissya, Slag Heap, and Shelter. Below, you’ll find a table listing their exact locations. In the image gallery above, you’ll find a global map (broken into two parts – one north and the other south) showing their locations. You’ll come across all of these camps as part of the main story, though you can visit the majority of them from the moment you first reach Zalissya and onward.

You’ll come across Lens as part of the main story in Zalissya in the Lesser Zone region, specifically the A Tough Awakening. He’s stationed in garage in the northeast of the settlement.
Diode – Slag Heap, Wild Island

Diode is found in the Slag Heap camp in the Garbage region, which you’ll come to as part of the Answers Come at a Price main mission. To reach Diode, head down the corridor to the right of Boozer the Trader, then take a right into his workshop.
Multitool – Rookie Village, Cordon

Multitool calls the Rookie Village in the Cordon region home. He’s found in a house in the southwest of the village, in the room just behind, Wolf the Guide for the settlement.
Khors – Shelter, Wild Island

Khors is located in the Noontide base called in the Shelter in the Wild Island region, which you’ll reach as part of the Hot on the Trail main story mission. He’s in a small room to the left of the mess hall, not far from your stash and bed.
Picker – Sultansk, Zaton

You’ll find Picker the Technician all the way down in Sultansk, the camp in the Zaton region of the zone. He’s on the upper floor, on the westernmost side of the rusty old ship, not far from your bed and Owl the Trader.
Sgt. Ivaylov – Chemical Plant, Chemical Plant
Sgt. Ivaylov is the resident Technician in the Chemical Plant camp in the Chemical Plant region. You’ll need to have sided with the Ward during the A Needle in a Haystack mission to access the base early on. You’ll unlock access later on as well as part of the main story.

You’ll find Sgt. Khmaruk in the Cement Factory camp in the north of the Cement Factory region. He’s stationed on the second floor of a building near the center of the compound.
Screw – Rostok, Rostok

Screw is found in the Rostok camp in the Rostok region of the Zone. He’s stationed in the main building, not far from Eugene the trader.
Harpy – Yaniv Station, Yaniv

Harpy is the Technician for the Yaniv Station camp, which is located in the Yaniv region in the northwest of the map, not too far from Prypiat. You’ll find her in the room next to your stash and bed.
Semyonych – STC Malachite, Malachite

Semyonych is found in the STC Malachite camp in the Malachite region in the far west of the map. He’s likely one of the last Technicians you’ll meet. His workshop is in the main hall, not too far from Pythagoras the Trader.
