As part of the Budmo! side mission, a group of boozy Stalkers draft you in to track down three stashes and deposit a bottle of vodka in each of them. One of theirs has gone missing and the hope is that a spot of strong tipple will help them out. The problem is they’re too drunk to do it themselves. So off you go to courier the booze around the Garbage region.
You’re under strict instructions not to loot the stashes. You can heed the warning and receive a decent haul of coupons for completing the quest. But, we recommend grabbing the loot instead, in particular the upgraded artifact scanner. You’ll have to deal with an Stalker but it’s worth the trouble. Here are all three Budmo! stash locations you’ll need to visit along with details of how to find the stash in each of them.

Stash location 1
The first stash is located on an electricity pylon to the southeast of Slag Heap. You get a map marker to help you pinpoint the location. Once there, use the branch resting on the ground to climb the tree then hop up to the plank resting against the pylon. The stash is nestled on a small platform against the metal structure. Place the vodka and grab the loot – Moonlight artifact, Flash artifact, and Hilka Detector.

Stash location 2
You’ll find this one in a cluster of concrete slabs to the northwest of Slag Heap as marked on the map. It’s not far from the house you investigate in the No Honor Among Thieves side mission. When you get there, clear out the mutant rats then look for a concrete cylinder covered by planks of wood. Use your knife to break them and gain access to the stash. Put the vodka in then grab the loot – M10 Gordon sub-machine gun, Pistol Suppressor, and .45 ACP FMJ ammo.

Stash location 3
The third stash is located to the northwest of the Slag Heap, right next to the Poisonous Hole point of interest as marked on your map. Head to the marker and you’ll find a cave entrance. Go inside and follow the path down until you meet a Stalker called Panas Shun. He’s not too happy about you looting his stashes and will attack you. Kill him. Loot the stash to get 9x18mm PST ammo and the AR416 dropped by Panas, which will need repairing.
You can head back to Slag Heap and talk to the drunk Stalkers. They’ll explain that Panas was gunned down near one of his stashes by a mysterious stranger. They’ll make a toast to their dead brother but won’t suspect you at all.
